Bulk Handling Systems (BHS), Eugene, Ore., has named John Warne to the position of President. Warne, who joined the company in November, 2012, as Director of Sales and Marketing, reports directly to CEO Steve Miller.

Additionally, BHS has hired Bryce Malone as director of sales and marketing.

The additions to BHS’ executive team follow the company's recent acquisitions of Nihot and NRT as well as the formation of BHS Europe. BHS is an international provider of turnkey material recovery facilities (MRFs) for a variety of applications.

“John’s impact at BHS has been significant and immediate, and Bryce Malone’s reputation and track record are extremely impressive,” says Miller. “Having the right team in place is fundamental to our success as we continue to offer integrated and innovative solutions to the world’s waste, recycling and energy needs. With John and Bryce in key leadership roles, we are well positioned to continue our global growth.”

“Since joining BHS around five months ago, I’ve been impressed by the quality of people here,” Warne says. “This company is made up of talented and hard-working employees who truly care about the work that they do and the customers that we support; it has been invigorating to come to work in this environment every day,” Warne adds. “As president, I look forward to working closely with each part of the company to continue the great work that has made BHS, NRT and Nihot trusted names to our customers.”

As president, Warne will oversee company-wide sales and operations, which includes engineering, research and development, supply chain and production, and product delivery and support.

Malone brings more than two decades of sales management experience, most recently having served as vice president of sales for Rosemount, Minn.-based Cannon Equipment. Prior to Cannon, Malone spent five years at Honeywell International where he was national sales manager.
