LBX Co. has introduced the Link-Belt X2 series of excavators. The X2 series is powered by re-engineered EPA certified Tier III Isuzu engines. All excavators have the added power of a turbocharger with air-to-air incooler and 4-valve OHC. All X2s feature load-sensing, automatic power boost to power through tough digging conditions or to provide plenty of power in heavy lifting applications. Two-speed boom lifting and arm open/close functions work in cooperation with hydraulic system regeneration to provide increased speed in digging, lifting and swing applications. Depending on the application, different work modes can be selected to change machine output by dialing the engine throttle to one of the following settings: Speed Priority Mode, Heavy Mode, Applied Power Mode or Attachment Mode. The X2 comes standard with climate control system for the operator cab that automatically regulates the temperature.
