Kawasaki Construction Machinery has developed new options in its wheel loader line specifically for the recycling industry. Kawasaki says its Recycling Package has been well-received and tested over the last few years, especially with metal recyclers. With guarding options such as the articulation area guard, axle brake piping guard, front and rear chassis belly guards and wheel seal guards, the company says vital areas of the loader are well-protected. Additional options include steel light housings with protective guards, a steel radiator grill and quick coupler.
Additionally, Kawasaki says features such as the heavy structural components are the heaviest in the industry. Outboard-mounted, sealed wet disc brakes are designed for long life and easy access and overhaul.
