Keith Manufacturing Co., Madras, Ore., manufacturer of the V-Floor system, has introduced the aluminum V-18 system, designed for materials that, according to the company, may be too demanding on a standard slat, but do not require the ruggedness of a steel V-Floor slat. Keith’s V-Floor design can be used to unload demolition material, scrap, asphalt and other highly abrasive materials. A key benefit of the V-Floor concept, according to the manufacturers, is the design of the system’s sub-deck, which creates a lead-resistant floor without requiring a floor seal. This carries over into the lighter-weight, V-18 aluminum slate. Durable and long-lasting, the V-18 slats are available in multiple profiles, including an Impact Series for high wear materials and impact applications. The V-18 system is also capable of unloading recycled materials, construction debris, wood chips and agricultural commodities.
