Hammer mill is designed for pulverizing, crushing and disintegrating aggregate materials, wood, minerals and other materials. Different types of hammers are available depending on the type of material being reduced. Many hammers are reversible and offer four wearing surfaces to increase service life and help lower operating costs. Materials are disintegrated/shattered by the revolving hammers upon entry and are further reduced by the force of impact against the heavy breaker plates in the cover.
