Slab Breaker Jaws

Columbia Steel, based in Portland, Ore., is touting its slab breaker jaws as a solution for contractors who have difficulty breaking concrete and asphalt slabs. The company says its slab breaker jaws are based on traditional and high-tooth jaw designs, but with additional raised slab breakers in pitch with conventionally located teeth. The number of slab breakers is proportional to the width of the crusher’s size and model, allowing the operator to set the discharge for a reasonable opening and still break slabs that otherwise would flow through the crushers, according to the company.
