Rotex Global LLC, Cincinnati, a leader in screening technologies, has introduced various screening solutions for recycling applications. Rotex Screeners are instrumental in many commercial recycling processes. The screeners separate material by particle size that can then be recycled in many industries, including ground rubber from recycled tires and wood byproducts from sawmill waste. Rotex offers a broad product range with models comprised of one to five decks, which have a potential surface area of up to 160 square feet. Construction options range from aluminum and stainless steel components to economical wood assemblies. The high-volume design of Rotex Screeners allows separation of even low-density products such as wood shavings and sawdust. The ball-mesh cleaning system of the Rotex Screener is also effective for hard-to-handle materials such as blasting media, boiler slag and sand. The screens are available in customized configurations, including aspiration for removal of light material. Specialized designs can be used for abrasive or hot conditions. Rotex Screeners are also capable of providing separation for applications, including crushed glass, fly ash, ground PET bottles, metal shavings, plastic pellets and plastic regrind.
