Rockland Manufacturing Co., Bedford, Pa., has introduced the EZ Dig system for mini excavators. The EZ Dig is designed with multiple spades, one behind the other, to chisel multiple cuts with every curl cycle. The number of spades is determined by the machine size. The EZ Dig doubles the amount of material moved per pass when compared to a traditional bucket, allowing operators to work quickly and efficiently. The EZ Dig cuts clean trenches as narrow as four inches, removing only the necessary material.
An operator can also change the spade width to match the trench widths. The system can also be used with other tools, including rakes and rippers. The EZ Dig is manufactured from long-wearing, high-strength, quenched and tempered steel.
