These horizontal grinders include a 500 horsepower Caterpillar C-12 diesel engine. The large diameter infeed roll is sensitive enough to permit grass clippings, brush, limbs, pallets, slabs, logs and stumps to be fed at variable speeds for continuous rather than batch feeding. It is engineered with several cutting surfaces at varying depths, virtually eliminating frequent jamming characteristic of more conventional grinders. Includes a 30-inch by 45-inch hammermill that rotates downward, preventing wide items from lodging between the screen and hammermill. Available mounted on either track or trailer mounts.
