Powerscreen has introduced its large-scale “flagship” Phoenix 3300 trommel, the biggest two-way mobile trommel screen in the Phoenix range. Designed and built specifically for topsoil, recycling, wood chips and compost applications, it has been engineered for high performance operation with low maintenance. The Phoenix 3300 has a four-wheel drive trommel friction drum system, designed to be reliable even when processing heavy capacities and throughputs. The drum load sensing system is a new technology that automatically stops the feeder to eliminate blockages and drum overloading. Remote control, fully integrated 180-degree radial product and fines conveyors provide for large stockpiling and flexibility in the working environment. The drum design permits use of meshes from existing Powerscreen Phoenix 1600 and 2100 product range. The drum lifts straight out of the trammel frame for quick changes. The engine is Tier 3 complaint and adheres to global emission regulations.
