The new model in Peterson’s line of horizontal recyclers is powered by a 1,000-hp Caterpillar 3412E diesel engine. It uses the Peterson Impact Release System designed to minimize damage from contaminants in the feed material. Like all Peterson machines, it uses a three-stage grinding process with an up turning rotor and large grate area.
