MPH362-2/MPH364-2

Bomag has improved drive-train components on its 79-inch rotor width asphalt recycler/soil stabilizers. The machines have been re-powered with a six-cylinder, 360-hp Cummins QSM11 water-cooled diesel engine. Other improvements include the use of a double reduction planetary rear drive system, which is propelled by a pair of axial piston, variable displacement motors. The MPH362-2 is a rear-wheel drive machine, and the MPH364-2 is a four-wheel drive machine. It has an asphalt recycling rotor designed to cut, pulverize and mix old and deteriorated asphalt pavement for new use, with a maximum cutting depth of 12 inches and the rotor is 79 inches wide and offers rotor speeds of up to 135 and 150 revolutions per minute.
