Manitou North America, Waco, Texas, has added the new MHT 860 to its line of heavy telescopic handlers. The MHT 860 is equipped with many of the same features as the previously introduced MHT 10120, 10160 and 10210 models. The MHT has a maximum capacity of 13,200 pounds, a maximum lift height of 26 feet 6 inches and a maximum forward reach of 15 feet 10 inches. The MHT 860 is also capable of delivering 23,600 foot per pound of drawbar pull. The MHT 860 is powered by the latest 144-horsepower Tier III Perkins turbo diesel and features a two-speed hydrostatic transmission which makes it both maneuverable and operator friendly. Standard features include the new fully enclosed Evolution ROPS-FOPS certified cab with heater/defroster and air conditioner. A high-output load sensing hydraulic system combined with the new JSM (joystick switch and move) joystick enables the MHT 860 to perform three simultaneous movements with no loss of speed. The MHT 860 incorporates all of the standard operating features of the Maniscopic line, such as three steering modes and frame leveling into a heavy duty machine. A wide range of attachments are also available.
