Hyster Co. is highlighting its Tier 4 H450HDS big truck. As part of its promotion, the company brought the vehicle to the ConExpo/ConAgg in Las Vegas, March 22 – 26.
Meeting the revised U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Tier 4 Interim emissions standards for off-highway diesel engines, Hyster says this outdoor truck is best suited for mining, general cargo and lumber and steel mill applications.
With a lifting capacity of 45,000 lbs. and 36-inch load center and 138-inch wheelbase, the H450HDS is designed for applications where a tight turning radius is critical.
The H450HDS truck’s engine has Cummins’ renowned quality and durability built in. The Cummins QSB6.7 Tier 4 Interim engine features electronic, high-pressure common-rail fuel systems, a variable geometry turbocharger, cooled exhaust gas recirculation and diesel particulate filtration.
