KPI-JCI Releases the Redesigned FT6203CC-3P Track Mounted Screen Plant
The newly redesigned FT6203CC-3P, a track mounted closed-circuit horizontal screen, replaces a former model, the FT6203CC, but now creates three products instead of two, while still maintaining the ability to return oversize material in a closed circuit operation.
“In this new design we wanted to increase the flexibility for the producer and lower their operating costs at the same time. We definitely feel that we’ve accomplished that. With just a few modifications we’ve made the plant more portable and more economic to run,” says Paul Smith, director of Products and Sales.
Some of the redesigned features of the FT6203CC-3P include an I-beam construction for improved strength that will result in fewer fatigue-related failures. The frame also provides for more ground clearance than the previous model and is situated upon even larger tracks to allow for a greater load capacity and the reduction of ground pressure. The blending system on the FT6203CC-3P is more elaborate and user-friendly and blends the top, center, and bottom deck retained material for increased product specification monitoring.
Some additions have also been incorporated to the new FT6203CC-3P model including a bogey attachment to allow for increased portability of the plant and all three side discharge conveyors are now equipped with independent variable speed controls to provide greater application flexibility. For easier maintenance and lower operating costs the engine compartment and control panel have also been simplified.
