West Salem Machinery, Salem, Ore., has added a hydraulic case option to the horizontal ginder. The use of a pivoted, split-front housing combined with dual hydraulic cylinders mounted to the sides of the machine make the hog faster, simpler and safer to open. The large opening proves outstanding access to common wear components, including the anvil, hammers and screens. The case is designed to improve machine access, decrease downtime and increase safety for users.
