Telsmith Inc., a Mequon, Wis.-based subsidiary of Astec Industries that manufactures crushing equipment, has introduced its Hydra-Jaw H2550 model, which the company says increases uptime and production capacity while streamlining operation and maintenance.
According to a company news release, the H2550 crusher features a hydraulic toggle system with a heavy-duty hydraulic cylinder that is custom-engineered for crushing application. The company adds that the unit’s relief and clearing systems eliminate downtime and prevent component damage while also increasing safety.
Other features include: finger tip control for frequent and fast adjustments, hydraulic chamber cleaning allowing the operator to safely and easily clean the crusher, hydraulics that will crush any materials remaining in the chamber and prevents oversized material from impacting the product belt.
