This bucket gives backhoes and excavators the ability to perform a variety of tasks with one attachment. It can be used as a trenching, grading and clamshell bucket, grapple and hydraulic thumb. Operating independently of the bucket curl cylinder, the jaw opens to 120 degrees. The serrated edges ob the bucket shell and jaw help to hold material in place. Equal force is applied to both sides of the jaw, preventing jaw twisting when picking up irregularly sided objects. All of the attachment’s moving parts are enclosed within the bucket structure, protecting them from debris and damage. Available in a variety of bucket widths for excavators and backhoes in the 40,000-pound operating weight.
