Genesis Attachments, Superior, Wis., has introduced the new Genesis Demolition Recycler (GDR), described by the company as a more economical tool for processing concrete. Designed for third-member use on machines in the 45,000-pound class and larger, the GDR delivers 115 tons of crushing force at the tip, a 32-inch jaw depth, a jaw opening of 35 inches and a quick 5.5-second (at 66gpm) cycle time. Genesis officials say this is the largest jaw they’ve ever offered on a tool that mounts on a 20-ton class machine, and the company emphasizes that the GDR delivers all that power without the use of an intensifier. Another feature of the GDR is its ability to be custom configured according to the end user’s specific needs, the company says.
