Atlas Copco, a construction tools company headquartered in Westfield, Mass., has added another unit to its line of Combi Cutter hydraulic demolition attachments. Both universal and steel-cutting jaws are available for the new unit. Universal jaws have an opening width of 34.6 inches and the steel-cutting jaws open 16.8 inches wide. Both jaws deliver a maximum cutting force of 330 tons. Designed with an advanced speed valve and enlarged cross sections of hydraulic lines. Other features include a single pin jaw retention design, which also comes with a coupling and positioning system(CAPS). With a maximum operating pressure of 5,075 psi, the CC 2500 is compatible with carriers in the 22 to 35 metric ton weight class.
