Stanley LaBounty, Two Harbors, Minn., has introduced a new generation of its Bucket Linkage Shears, the models BLS 2000 and BLS 3000. Several key upgrades were designed into these products to not only improve performance, but also to reduce maintenance. The BLS 2000 suits machines in the 40,000-65,000 pound weight class, while the BLS 3000 suits machines in the 65,000-85,000 pound weight class. These shears feature the 180 degree reversible Saber Tip and lower cross blade. Tapped cutting blades allow the shear blades to be easily removed and with more bolt-on componentry, maintenance time is significantly reduced. Other improvements include increasing the amount of high strength steel in critical areas and increasing pin sizes to withstand the higher forces generated by today’s more powerful excavators. These models are designed with multi-machine mounting brackets and are easy to install and do not require additional hydraulics to operate. Visit www.stanley-hydraulic-tools.com for more information.
