Bandit’s 4680 Beast Recycler can now be equipped with a Caterpillar 325 track undercarriage for self-propulsion. This option eliminates the need for towing and reduces the need for moving the material to the machine’s fixed location. Radio remote control allows operation from a distance. The Beast features a 57-inch-diameter mill with a width of 63 inches and a 40-inch by 60-inch opening, enabling it to handling a variety of wood scrap. It is powered by an 860 horsepower diesel engine. The controlled and regulated cuttermill system maximizes available horsepower, limits fuel consumption and reduces vibration. The unit is capable of producing finished product in a single pass with a capacity of roughly 500 cubic yards per hour, depending on the material.
