The 80-Series of All-Wheel-Steer (AWS) Loaders is designed with four-wheel steering and a one-piece chassis. Four models are available: 280, 480, 480T (telescopic) and 680. Operating weights range from 7,055 pounds to 12,015 pounds and bucket capacities ranging from 1.44 cubic yards to 2.35 cubic yards. Rated operating loads range from 2,590 pounds to 4,365 pounds. EPA Tier II diesel engines range from 38 to 76 hp and are standard on all models. Machines are equipped with “intelligent drive” technology—when the loader is driven into a pile of material, speed is automatically reduced and tractive effort is increased without the operator needing to shift gears.
