Track mounted horizontal grinder is the newest model in the Peterson line. Powered by a 1,000-hp Caterpillar 3412E diesel engine, the feed opening of 50 by 66 inches. It features Peterson’s Adaptive Control System II, which controls all components of the feed system to optimize output. Rotor options include a traditional drum style for general applications and a pinned style for high impact applications, such as C&D debris. It also features Peterson’s Impact Cushion System, in which urethane cushions allow movement of the compression roll/anvil housing pivot shaft, cushioning impacts due to contaminants in the feed material.
