More than 200 people attended a mid-April meeting about the use-variance requests from R.E. Pierson Construction Inc.,
The zoning board had previously granted the company its use-variances at a meeting in January. However, following a negative response from neighbors to the site, the board rescinded its approval on Feb. 28, according to the report.
The applicant then sent out new notices making more neighbors aware of the plans.
Hearings will continue on May 23.
