Submissions are now open for the 2019 World Demolition Awards, which will be presented at the World Demolition Summit Oct. 23-24 in Boston.
Organized by Demolition & Recycling International in cooperation with the National Demolition Association (NDA) and European Demolition Association, the awards honor best practices and innovation in 11 different categories across the industry.
Entries should cover demolition and related work that either started or was completed between July 2018 and June 2019. Entries can be made for contracts that started before July 2018 if they were completed during that time frame. Entries can also be made covering contracts begun during this time frame where work is currently still ongoing, but the basis for the entry must be for elements of the contract that have already been completed.
Companies can submit multiple entries and more than one entry per category, but specific projects can only be entered for one category.
Categories include contract of the year, safety and training, collaboration, explosive demolition and more.
