The Germany-based Wirtgen Group, which is now part of John Deere, displayed several pieces of equipment pertinent to the recycled aggregates sector at the 2020 ConExpo-Con/Agg event in Las Vegas in March.
The Mobirex MR 130 Zi EVO2 impact crusher, marketed under the Kleeman brand, is a mobile unit designed for flexible use, according to Wirtgen Group.
“The mobile impact crushers of the EVO2 series are designed so that they can be transported easily and made ready for operation in a short space of time,” says the company.
Wirtgen Group says the Mobirex MR 130 Zi EVO2 features a direct diesel drive concept designed to ensure high output while simultaneously minimizing fuel consumption.
Adds the company, “For better capacity utilization and productivity, the system widths of the impact crusher plant open in the direction of material flow.” The crusher is capable of output of up to 496 short tons per hour, according to Wirtgen.
Also on display at ConExpo was a Kleeman Mobiscreen MS 952i EVO classifying screen. Wirtgen Group says the double-decker screening plant “can be deployed flexibly thanks to good transport dimensions and short setup times. These advantages make it the first choice for crushing plant contractors not only in recycling, but also quarrying.”
The MS 952i EVO has a screening surface of approximately five feet by 20 feet, and is capable of up to 550 short tons per hour of output. Wirtgen Group says a sizable feed hopper and feeding conveyor accompany the MS 952i EVO to help ensure high output.
