Wildeck product designed to provide modular factory walkways

Waukesha, Wisconsin-based Wildeck Inc. and its subsidiary Ladder Industries have announced their new LadderLink modular access system. The companies say LadderLink provides “an affordable and rugged framework of five core bolt-together components that will allow users to easily create a customized access solution for distribution centers, warehouses and manufacturing operations.”

The LadderLink Modular Access System will be displayed for the first time at the ProMat 2017 exposition, April 3-6, 2017, at McCormick Place in Chicago.

“We listened to our customers’ requests for a more affordable, safe and highly adaptable access solution,” says Ladder Industries General Manager Tim Gonzalez. He says Ladder Industries “then went to work designing a stronger, component-based structural steel system that is easier on facility budgets and safer than competitive aluminum structures and designs.”

According to Wildeck, the LadderLink system uses a framework of five pre-engineered steel components that can combine to create “virtually endless configurations of work platforms, crossovers and stairs.”

Standard LadderLink components, according to the company, include:

• diamond plate platform decks;
• guardrails with continuous handrails and kickplates;
• towers and supports;
• vertical access ladders and ship’s ladders; and
• OSHA- and IBC (International Building Code)-compliant stairs.

Wildeck Inc. is a subsidiary of Holden Industries and is a 100 percent employee-owned company. It says its products are designed to improve supply chain productivity and provide additional capacity, efficiency, safety and access in manufacturing plants, warehouses, distribution centers and other facilities.
