Weir Minerals, a Glasgow, Scotland-based supplier of equipment to the minerals processing industry, has added two distributors in the United States.
Weir has named JCI Industries Inc. as its authorized full line stocking distributor for Kansas, Nebraska and western Missouri. JCI also has been certified to repair Weir Minerals’ equipment. JCI will supply local service through parts inventory, application engineering assistance and support from its seven offices in the Midwest.
The company also named Cortech Engineering, with two California locations, to be its authorized full line stocking distributor for Southern California. Cortech has offices in Yorba Linda and Bakersfield, Calif.
The new distributors will sell the following Weir equipment: Warman, Galigher, ASH Pump, Hazelton, Floway Pumps, Cavex Hydrocyclones, Isogate Slurry Valves, Linatex Slurry Hose and wear resistant Linatex Rubber Products.
Weir has more than 200 manufacturing facilities and service centers throughout the world.
