Wastequip, Charlotte, North Carolina, has introduced a series of lockable roll-off container covers that are designed to meet U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations for stormwater exposure.Wastequip says its new heavy-duty covers for roll-off containers are ideal for combating harsh weather conditions. The covers are built with UV-protected, impact-resistant high-density polyethylene (HDPE) that are lockable to protect container contents from theft, as well as prevent unauthorized dumping.
Wastequip’s roll-off container covers open up to 90 degrees and provide full access to container contents. Opening and closing the cover requires no tools or machines; users pull the lid back, then push it toward the ground as the lid tilts open. The covers are permanently mounted to the container, remaining on at all times, including during transportation to the landfill or scrap yard.
Wastequip’s roll-off container covers are available in multiple sizes and configurations. Standard covers are available to fit the most common containers, and custom models can be built to fit unique container shapes or sizes.
The covers can be shipped preinstalled on new Wastequip’s roll-off containers, or sold separately for retrofitting on existing containers. The covers can be shipped fully assembled or as unassembled kits.
