Wastequip Adds Environmental Sales Specialist

The equipment company Wastequip, Charlotte, N.C., has named Scott Schwietz environmental sales specialist. The position is part of an expanded sales and marketing effort within Wastequip’s environmental products group.

In his new role, Schwietz will handle quoting and will serve as a contact for Wastequip’s sales team and customers on technical questions related to environmental products. Additional responsibilities for Schwietz will include lead generation and coordinating direct marketing campaigns. He also will be involved in new product research and development. Previously he worked in Wastequip’s call center, focusing on environmental products.

“Scott has had great success as an inside sales specialist over the past six years. He has shown a passion for environmental products and has been very effective in working with environmental customers,” says Shawn King, vice president of marketing. “I’m excited to have Scott transition to this new role where he will be instrumental in growing Wastequip’s environmental products business.”
