The Washington state Senate has approved a $244 million supplemental construction budget, according to a report in the Seattle Post Intelligencer.
The budget includes funds for education projects and a new prison, according to the report.
The budget also added more than $37 million to K-12 construction and repair programs, in addition to $21 million earmarked for higher education renovations.
