Walmart, a global retail company, has made available on its Web site the full Webcast from its “Global Sustainability Milestone Meeting,” which contains presentations from Walmart personnel addressing best practices and the company’s progress toward reaching its goal of being 100-percent supplied by renewable energy.
According to the company, the objectives of the Webcast are to understand how Walmart’s commitment to sustainability makes a difference for its customers and how the company is finding new and innovative ways to become more sustainable.
The Webcast lasts an hour and a half and contains an interesting example of Walmart’s closed-loop cardboard recycling system at the 41-minute mark.
