The Health Board has delayed a decision on permitting a construction and demolition debris transfer station in North Andover, Mass., until next week, according to a report in the Eagle-Tribune (North Andover, Mass.).
Thomson Brothers Industries Inc. has applied to build the facility, which would process up to 650 tons of C&D debris per day.
A public health hearing on the project was opened in June 2005, according to the report.
Some residents have voiced concerns over increased truck traffic to the area if the facility is approved.
