Volvo Rents, Asheville, N.C., has opened an East Region office in Iselin, N.J. The company, which operates a network of rental stores in North America, offers a line of equipment for the construction, commercial and industrial markets, as well as a line of Volvo compact excavators, compactors, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, compaction equipment, and skid steer loaders.
Along with opening a new office, Volvo Rents has added a new management team.
Russ Parisi, who joined Volvo Rents in 2003, will serve as eastern region vice president and oversee Volvo’s eastern U.S. business, as well as the eastern provinces of Canada.
Parisi, says, “This is a pivotal time in the market, with great opportunities for Volvo Rents’ further growth. The new office and management team adds further depth and breadth of experience as we intensify our push to capitalize on the economic upturn and expand upon our already strong network of company- and franchise-owned stores.”
The new office’s management team will consist of Michell Laury as regional executive administrator, David Ritz as division manager for the Northeast, Joe Weldie as division manager for the Southeast, Larry Kirkpatrick as division manager of the Upper Midwest and Victor Guerreiro as division manager of Greater Toronto area.
Volvo’s region sales managers will include Matt Tavianini, Northeast and Upper Midwest, and Mike Bullock, Southeast. Nelson Tavares will be division sales manager for the Greater Toronto area. The regional safety manager will be Sal Lombardo. Jerry Dohn will serve as regional service manager, and Ed Cunnally will be region controller.
