Archdale, N.C.-based Vecoplan Integrated Controls (VIC) a manufacturer of industrial control panels and integrated control systems, has promoted Ron Carter to electrical engineering manage.
His responsibilities will include managing the engineering department, overseeing design and development of custom control panels and turnkey control systems integration for manufacturing plants. Carter also will oversee the manufacture and implementation of projects once the engineering phase has been completed.
“Ron earned this position,” says Todd Carswell, vice president of technical services at VIC. “His exemplary performance as an electrical engineer and the natural leadership potential he displayed in that position made his promotion an easy decision.”
Carter has 20 years’ practical experience from careers with Commonwealth Brands, Lucent Technologies and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. as well as theoretical experience as the lead electronics engineering instructor at Rockingham Community College, Wentworth, N.C.
