Veolia Environmental, Osram Sylvania Launch Recycling Partnership

Veolia Environmental Services (VES) North America, based in Denver, has partnered with Osram Sylvania, Danvers, Mass., to jointly promote Veolia's lighting and electronics recycling program online.

Osram Sylvania is selling Recyclepak, prepaid packaging that allows small quantities of fluorescent lamps and ballasts to be recycled, on its Web site at www.sylvania.com. Formerly known as OnyxPak, Recyclepak is a convenient way for small businesses to manage their lighting discards, with one price covering all the necessary requirements.

Recyclepak ships supplies to and from the customer's facility and processes all documentation, including certificates of recycling. The pre-paid recycling program ensures complete compliance with state and local disposal regulations while reducing the risks associated with improper storage, according to VES.

In addition to lighting, Recyclepak also provides a recycling and disposal solution for electronics, including batteries, computer electronics and mercury containing items.
