Veolia ES Solid Waste Inc. has acquired all the business assets of Milo Sanitation, based in Valdosta, Ga. The acquisition will expand Veolia’s hauling operations in Valdosta, adding 4,000 residential customers and 60 commercial accounts to Veolia’s existing system.
“The acquisition of these assets is consistent with our strategy to expand our operations in the southern Georgia region, and we were pleased to offer existing Milo Sanitation employees the opportunity to become a part of Veolia,” says Jim Long, president and CEO of Veolia ES Solid Waste.
Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
