Universal Wrecking, Brick, N.J., was named one of the 12 national finalists for the Contractor of the Year 2011 program. The program is sponsored by the heavy equipment manufacturer Caterpillar and
Equipment Worldmagazine. Universal Wrecking specializes in demolition projects and scrap metal removal services throughout the United States.
Steve Vesseli, owner of Universal Wrecking, attended the banquet March 5 where the where the winners were announced.
According to Universal Wrecking, each Contractor of the Year finalist is selected on the basis of company achievements, endorsements from customers and vendors and the contributions the company has made to the construction industry.
