U.S. Lawns hired Mike Dzurenko as its national business development manager. Dzurenko has been involved in the Green Industry since 1984 with the TruGreen Companies. His background includes account manager, regional sales manager, and major account business development for the Southeastern United States. In 2006 and 2007 he was recognized with a Presidents Club Award for sales achievement. He will be based out of the company's Orlando office.
Dzurenko’s focus throughout his career has been on property management companies, hotel chains, retail management and multi-state accounts. His role will be to assist in generating sales for U.S. Lawns franchisees through regional and national opportunities. He will be responsible for implementing the regional/multi-territory model that was rolled out at the 2007 regional meetings, attending and following up on leads from the BOMA, IFMA, ICSC, CAI, and NAIOP trade shows, running with leads supplied by franchisees for opportunities outside of their territories that impact multiple territories, as well as seeking new opportunities through cold calling and past relationships that will benefit the U.S. Lawns franchisees.
Dzurenko attended Youngstown State University, has been married to Carol since 1992 and has two sons, Christopher and Michael. His hobbies include golf and collecting sports memorabilia.
Dzurenko is a native of Ohio and resides in Atlanta, Ga.
