Nearly 1,000 composting and organics recycling professionals and more than 100 exhibitors attended the U.S. Composting Council’s 16th Annual Conference and Trade Show, Feb. 9-12 in
Hosted by a record 48 sponsors, the Annual Conference attracted a national and international audience, with representatives from nearly ever state and 19 countries.
In addition to three days of training courses, educational and technical sessions, the conference also featured Equipment Demonstrations by many of the leading manufacturers and suppliers in the industry, including grinding and shredding equipment from Peterson, Diamond Z, Bandit Industries, Komptech, Morbark, Doppstadt, and Vermeer Manufacturing; screening equipment from Orbit, Powerscreen, ALLU, Doppstadt and McCloskey International; mixing equipment from Kuhn North America, ROTO-MIX and Supreme International; turning equipment from Midwest Biosystems, and Vermeer; compost application and spreading equipment from ROTO-MIX; plastic separation and removal equipment by Hawker Corp. /Airlift Separator; blower trucks by Peterson and Express Blower; and erosion control products and compost application equipment by Filtrexx.
