From Jan.26-29, the U.S. Composting Council (USCC) will be hosting its 17th annual conference and tradeshow at the Westin Galleria in
The show is designed specifically for professionals in the composting and organics recycling industries, according to event planners. Event attendee’s include compost managers, operators, regulators, researchers, government officials, engineers and consultants from throughout the country.
This year’s conference program includes more than 100 educational and technical presentations and workshops on composting and the benefits of compost use, organics recycling, anaerobic digestion as well as alternative treatment technologies, greenhouse gas emissions and carbon credits.
The show also includes 11 training courses, more than 100 exhibitors, live equipment demonstrations from 20 plus manufacturers and compost facility tours. Attendees also have the opportunity to attend the fifth annual showcase of compost products and the third annual “expert corner” as well as take certification exams and CEU’s.
