Trucks & Parts, a Vocational Trucks & Equipment (VTE) company based in Tampa, Florida, has named Scott Edelbach its president.

Edelbach brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in the waste and recycling industry to Trucks & Parts. He began his career at McNeilus in 1994, advancing through a series of leadership roles before serving as VP of sales. He founded Vocational Energy in 2009, focused on the design, construction and management of compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations. Following its merger with TruStar Energy, he served as chief operating officer. Most recently, Edelbach was executive VP of operations at Opal Fuels

His background includes equipment sales, alternative fuels infrastructure, operations management, procurement, vendor relations and large-scale project execution. Trucks & Parts says he has extensive knowledge of industry equipment and leadership experience across waste, municipal and vocational truck markets.

“Trucks & Parts has built a strong reputation over more than 75 years by staying focused on its customers and executing at a high level,” Edelbach says. “I look forward to working alongside the team to strengthen operations, support our partners and continue building on that foundation for long term growth.”

Brion Maguire, who served as the company’s president prior to Edelbach, will transition to senior VP and will remain a member of VTE's board of directors, allowing him to focus on strategic growth initiatives across the organization.

“Scott brings deep industry knowledge and years of proven leadership,” VTE CEO Matt McLeish says. “He has earned the respect of customers across the waste and recycling sector and understands how to scale operations while maintaining the service standards our customers expect and rely on. We’re confident in his ability to lead Trucks & Parts forward.”
