Triumvirate Environmental, a Somerville, Massachusetts-based provider of environmental, health and safety services, has acquired Environmental Waste Minimization LLC (EWMI), a full-service environmental management company with locations in Northampton, Pennsylvania, and Bakersfield, California.
Founded in 1995, EWMI delivers comprehensive environmental solutions including waste transportation and disposal, remediation and field services, demolition and decommissioning, soil management and lab pack services to a variety of engineering, industrial and municipal clients across the U.S. Through its affiliate Rapid Response LLC of Northampton, Pennsylvania, EWMI also provides 24/7 emergency spill response services.
“This acquisition represents an important milestone in Triumvirate's continued growth,” Triumvirate Environmental Chief Operating Officer Tim Mooney says. “EWMI has built a strong reputation for operational excellence, safety and client service. By combining our capabilities, we are better positioned to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end environmental solutions to clients nationwide.”
For more than 35 years, Triumvirate Environmental says it has been supporting organizations across the life sciences, advanced manufacturing, higher education and health care sectors with hazardous and nonhazardous waste management, sustainability solutions, regulatory compliance support and advisory services. According to Triumvirate, the acquisition aims to enhance the company’s national field services capabilities and strengthen the firm's ability to:
- expand remediation, soil management, demolition and emergency response services;
- enhance nationwide transportation and disposal capabilities; and
- increase resources and technical expertise for complex environmental projects.
“Joining Triumvirate allows us to build on the strong foundation we've established while providing our clients with expanded capabilities and geographic reach,” EWMI partner and President Mike Acker says. “We share a deep commitment to safety, compliance and exceptional service, making this a natural fit for our team and customers. Clients can expect continuity in service and operations.”
