The tumbling action of the Rotascreen trommel from Triple/S Dynamics, Dallas, is designed to promote the passage of undersize particles through a specially designed screen, while the drum propels the large, bulky materials found in many waste streams out of the oversized discharge chute.
Designed without internal impediments, the drum’s interior resists accumulation of sticks, wire, rags, sheet, damp fines and other materials that can accumulate in screening equipment, according to Triple/S Dynamics.
Rotascreen trommels are suitable for municipal solid waste recycling, cleaning material that will be converted to energy, recycling of oversized tire shreds, recycling of building materials and composting systems.
