Trekker Tractor, based in Miami, is the latest dealer to carry Commerce City, Colo.-based Chicago Pneumatic compressors, generators, hydraulic attachments and handheld breakers and hammers, the company has announced in a press release.

Efraim Vicente, vice president of operations for Trekker Tractor, says, “At each of our locations (in the Florida cities of Miami, West Palm Beach, Ft. Myers and Tampa), you can find the complete line of Chicago Pneumatic products. Our customers can rely on us when they select their tools from this product line.”
Sam Silva, vice president of finance for Trekker Tractor, says the company plans to open additional Florida branches, including an Orlando branch by the end of 2010 and Jacksonville and Tallahassee branches in the future. According to a press release, the locations will have both heavy and light equipment, tailored to meet local needs.
“We want our customers and potential customers to know we are a new company with a new philosophy that will service the needs of the markets. With local Florida ownership and managers who are active in the company, we will be able to change fast to meet the needs of each local market,” Silva states.
