Tramac Celebrates 40th Anniversary

Tramac Corp. and Tramac Equipment Ltd. marked their 40^th anniversary in October.

To commemorate the occasion, company president Denis Bataille arranged a celebration at the Fairmont Le Manoir in Charlevoix, Quebec, for all of the company’s North American employees and their spouses. Key employees of Tramac Benelux in Belgium also joined in the festivities. Activities included a reception and dinner and a whale watching boat trip.

Tramac Corp. (originally American Tradex) was established in 1966 by Jacques Bataille and continues to be managed by the Bataille family. In addition to its U.S. operations, which recently introduced Muscle Mate attachments, Tramac Equipment Ltd. operates throughout Canada and Tramac-Benelux operates in Belgium and Luxemburg.

In the United States, Tramac markets stationary boom systems and excavator attachments under the Muscle Mate brand. The company markets hydraulic hammers, plate compactors, excavator attachments and stationary boom systems in Canada, Belgium and Luxemburg.
