Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE), based in Brussels, has introduced a new electric forklift, the Toyota Traigo 24.
According to a company news release, the new Toyota Traigo 24 range of three-wheel, 24-volt electric counterbalanced forklifts offers safe, productive operation where space is limited, including platform logistics, manufacturing and food industry operations. The company says the Traigo 24 line of forklifts is designed for light- and medium-duty applications and is available in three load capacities: 1 ton, 1.25 tons and 1.5 tons.
Other features of the Traigo 24 line include a large driver entry assist grip to ease access to the truck, enhanced digital displays for easier reading of operational parameters and an extended choice of materials handling controls, including side lever controls, electronic mini-levers and multifunction levers, the company says. The new line also features the Toyota AC2 power system and the Toyota System of Active Stability (SAS).
“Since their introduction, Toyota's 24-volt electric forklifts have been appreciated by customers for their excellent safety, productivity and driveability, especially in areas where space is at a premium. And because Toyota Traigo 24 is built using the world-renowned Toyota Production System, businesses can count on excellent durability and value over the life of their Toyota Traigo 24 trucks,” says Anthony Nadalin, TMHE product marketing manager.
