Timber Holdings International Launches Hybrid Commercial Grade Decking

Iron Woods CX uses recycled materials and meets LEED eligibility requirements.

Timber Holdings International has entered into an agreement in which Correct Building Products LLC whereby will manufacture a commercial grade deck board for Timber Holdings. The new product will be sold and marketed by Timber Holdings as Iron Woods CX ultra low maintenance Hybrid Commercial Grade Decking for commercial marine dock and boardwalk applications.

The addition of Iron Woods CX will give Timber Holdings a product that uses recycled post-industrial hardwood fiber and recycled post-consumer polypropylene materials. The company states that the decking meets LEED eligibility requirements for sustainable sites and material resources. The dock and boardwalk products will be made from 80 percent recycled composite materials and will include CBP’s CX Technology that features ultra-low maintenance characteristics by providing resistance to staining, fading, and mold & mildew problems.
