The city council of Paris, Texas, is set to approve a contract with Barney Bray Construction for the demolition and disposal of 100 dilapidated homes in the city, according to a report in the Paris News (Paris, Texas).
The company submitted the lowest bid out of two that were received Nov. 8, according to the report.
It was one of 10 companies that showed initial interest in the project by picking up bid packets by Nov. 3.
The city has budgeted $80,000 for the demo project, according to the report.
